Yosemite National Park is a natural wonderland in California’s Sierra Nevada. Known for its majestic waterfalls, giant sequoia trees, and granite cliffs, it attracts millions of nature lovers each year.
Yosemite became a national park in 1890. But long before that, it was home to the Ahwahneechee people, who lived in harmony with the land for centuries.
Yosemite is home to some of the tallest waterfalls in North America. Visit in spring for the best flow! Yosemite Falls drops a total of 2,425 feet.
Walk among giants at Mariposa Grove. These ancient trees can live over 3,000 years and reach up to 300 feet tall!
Keep your eyes peeled for bears, deer, foxes, and over 400 bird species. Just remember—never feed the animals!
