Roads to avoid during G20 Summit

As per an advisory released by Delhi Police, all of New Delhi district will be considered as “Controlled Zone-I” between 5am on 8 September and 11.59pm on 10 September.

You’re likely to experience longer travel times to the airport between 8-10 September. Delhi Police recommends that you account for sufficient time to commute

Will metro stations be operational?

All metro stations will continue to operate during G20, but boarding and deboarding at the Supreme Court Metro Station will not be allowed from 5am on 9 September to 11pm on 10 September.

Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL), which operates IGI Airport, received requests from various airlines for cancellation of 80 departing and 80 arriving domestic flights during the three days of the G20 Summit.

Hotels hosting during G20 Summit

Delegates will be put up at hotels like the Taj Palace New Delhi, ITC Maurya, The Imperial New Delhi, and Shangri-La Eros New Delhi. Taj Palace New Delhi and ITC Maurya are unable to book online from 8-11 September

As the G20 Summit approaches, there will be public holidays in New Delhi targeted at ensuring the safety and smooth proceedings of the Delhi G20 Summit event.

When will Delhi G20 Summit event

The Delhi G20 Summit will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, and Sunday, September 10, 2023. During this Delhi G20 Summit Event, there will be public holidays in the national capital from September 8-10.
